Contract Beverage Manufacturing in Lebanon: What You Need to Know
Lebanon has a growing community of food and beverage entrepreneurs — people with a real product idea, a recipe, and a market in mind, but no production facility to bring it to life. Finding a credible contract manufacturer in the region has historically meant going abroad, dealing with minimum order quantities built for multinationals, and losing control of your formula in the process.
Foundry Bev exists to change that. Built inside the same Roumieh facility that produces Cidra and Kicks & Gemz, it is Lebanon's fully integrated contract beverage manufacturing operation — HACCP compliant, FDA registered, and built for brands that are serious about quality.
What is contract beverage manufacturing?
Contract beverage manufacturing — sometimes called co-packing or private label production — is when a brand outsources its physical production to a third-party facility. You own the recipe, the brand, and the relationship with your customer. The manufacturer handles the equipment, the compliance, the production runs, and the packaging.
For early-stage brands, it removes the single biggest barrier to entry: you don't need to build or lease a factory to launch a product. For established brands looking to expand into new formats or markets, it provides capacity without capital expenditure.
What Foundry Bev offers
Recipe Development — our in-house R&D laboratory works with your brief to develop and refine formulations that perform at production scale, not just in a test kitchen.
Beverage Production — stainless steel fermentation tanks, pasteurisation tunnel, and a canning and bottling line capable of handling carbonated and still beverages.
Bottling and Canning — flexible format capability across glass bottles and aluminium cans, with capacity suited to both initial launch runs and scaling volumes.
Labelling and Packaging — end-to-end finishing so your product leaves the facility shelf-ready.
Pasteurisation — inline pasteurisation for extended shelf life without compromising taste or ingredient integrity.
Private Label Production — for retailers and distributors looking to launch their own branded beverage line.
Who we work with
Foundry Bev currently produces for a growing roster of Lebanese beverage brands. Current clients include The Good Thymes, Villa C, and Matinga — brands that came to us at different stages, from early concept to established product looking for a more capable production partner.
We work best with founders who know what they want to build and need a manufacturer who can meet them at that level — not upsell them on services they don't need or lock them into minimums that don't make sense for their stage.
Why manufacture in Lebanon?
There is a practical case and a strategic one.
The practical case: proximity. Working with a local manufacturer means shorter lead times, easier quality control visits, faster iteration on formulation, and significantly lower logistics costs for brands distributing within Lebanon and the broader Levant.
The strategic case: provenance. Lebanese origin is increasingly a selling point in export markets — particularly in the Gulf, Europe, and the Lebanese diaspora communities in the Americas and West Africa. A product made in Lebanon, with Lebanese ingredients where possible, carries a story that resonates. We know this from experience — Cidra has been exported to 9 countries across 4 continents.
Compliance and certification
Foundry Bev operates under HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) compliance and is FDA registered — the two baseline certifications required for serious regional distribution and export. These aren't marketing claims; they are operational standards that govern how the facility runs every day.
For brands looking to export, working with an FDA registered manufacturer from day one removes a significant compliance hurdle later.
How to get started
The first step is a conversation. We don't run a standard intake form — we'd rather talk through your product, your timeline, and your volume expectations directly, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
